Review by hotel critic
My recent stay at Thon Hotel Sandnes was a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle, offering a tranquil environment perfect for unwinding. The convenience of walking distance to nearby attractions made exploring the charming city delightful. The hotel staff, as mentioned by others, were exceptionally warm and attentive. I found the sauna facilities to be a serene retreat, ideal for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The on-site conference space provided a quiet spot for work tasks, reflecting the blend of business and leisure seamlessly. While my room was adequate, the slight mix-up during check-in resulted in a different room allocation than anticipated. However, the proximity to breathtaking water views balanced out any inconveniences. The inclusion of a garden area added a touch of nature to the ambiance.Thon Hotel Sandnes offers a serene retreat with attentive staff and convenient amenities, making it a suitable choice for both business and leisure travelers looking for a tranquil stay.
